Last night (Wednesday 21st February 2018) we achieved a fantastic ranking of 3rd in the Sunday Times Best 100 Not-For-Profit Organisations to work for in the UK. This is a tremendous result and a great achievement; following from our 5th place finish in 2017.
On behalf of Fair Ways, the awards were attended by the Employee of the Year, individual department Team Mates of the Year, two Foster Carers, our Trustees and our Board of Directors.
Fair Ways achieved this award based on the views and opinions of our staff and how they are treated as employees.
Mac McHugh, Managing Director, Fair Ways
“I hope everyone is as proud as I am – not only of the award, but to be part of an organisation that is trying to really make a difference in the lives of the individuals who access all of our services, and all the staff who help to deliver them. This is the second year we have entered these awards and I am delighted that we have ranked in the top 5 for two consecutive years. Our employees are our biggest asset and this will only serve to further highlight their importance to our success.”
Ian Davis, Chairman, Fair Ways Foundation
“I want to say how proud the Trustees are of all the staff at Fair Ways, without whose dedication, enthusiasm and commitment, we would not have been recognised. An outstanding result for our second entry to these awards.”
