Fair Ways School: A Pheonix Rising from the Ashes

Following the devastating news of the school fire in early July, it was decided that we would document our journey back to re-opening the school.

In this time, our team followed the work and emotions of everyone involved in the project; looking to put together a short video to show people the rollercoaster few months at Fair Ways School in Swanwick.

Since the fire, we have worked tirelessly around the clock to ensure a new school site is in place and ready for students to return to full-time education. Today, you’ll get to see some of this in the video below.

The new site is contained in the surrounding ground of the old school buildings and welcomed students back for the first time since the fire on Monday 27th September 2021. Communication with parents and guardians throughout the project has seen excitement build, with an Open Day for members of the public and key stakeholders likely to be scheduled for later in the term.
