A Spooktacular Fair Ways Halloween Competition

This Halloween, we held a friendly Halloween competition across all of our services, including a Halloween Costume Competition and Pumpkin Carving Competition!

Children, young people and staff from across Fair Ways got involved and embraced the Halloween spirit. Judging proved a real Halloween nightmare, with too many incredible entries. Who knew minions and four-legged friends could be so scary, and that we have a head on display in one of our schools…

Congratulations to our winners…

Pumpkin Competition

1. JN – Fostering: The judges loved the detail of this pumpkin, including the shaved cheeks to really enhance it.
2. Students at Fort Wallington: Whilst a puking pumpkin is nothing new, we loved the creativity of its little pepper friend also added in.
3. YP and MY at Hillside: This entry showed a high level of carving skills!

Congratulations to our winners…

1. Fort Wallington students (and team members!): This costume was brilliant. It was super creative and this photograph is so well staged! (P.S it is not a real table, and they are not leaning on it)
2. JN (and Daisy the dog!) – Fostering: Great costume and we love the spiders on the dog.
3. Jess’ spooky dogs – Support Worker: Who couldn’t love this entry!

Thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part and shared your frightfully fantastic creations. We loved seeing all the creativity, effort, and Halloween spirit you brought to the competitions!

Have a wonderful Halloween weekend!
