Why Fair Ways?

We have built our reputation on the levels of support we provide

At Fair Ways Fostering, we offer the highest levels of pay and training, but where we have really built our reputation is in the support we provide. It can be difficult to distinguish between competing providers that all state to offer great support, but here are some examples of what we do:

Fair Ways Fostering Team
  • We are owned by a charity, meaning all our profits are re-invested in our services, not dividends to private shareholders or equity funders.
  • As a full children services provider, with 3 schools, a resource centre and a family centre, we utilise the skills and experience from all of these services to add value to our Fostering service.
  • Core fundamentals, such as our Social Workers not having a portfolio of more than 10 Foster Care families.
  • Our Foster Carers have their own, dedicated telephone service, answered by a member of our team, 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • We take pride in developing the career of our Carers through additional training courses, many of which we have developed and have been externally accredited.

We are driven to making a positive difference to the lives of young people.

If you believe you can make a difference as well, please contact us now.

Fostering In Isle of Wight – Desmond’s Story

Desmond (13) had 17 previous placements which had all failed and was described as ‘un-fosterable’. He was placed with Fair Ways Foster Carers as an alternative to residential care.

Desmond required experienced Carers and a large support network but is now described as in a stable placement and is contributing positively in both school and the local community.
