Fair Ways Fostering are delighted to have joined the Fairer Fostering Partnership

Fairer Fostering is a group of independent fostering agencies (IFA’s) that all operate as Charities or Not-for-Profit organisations.

Their purpose is “to promote understanding of the difference between our members, and the commercial fostering agencies owned by private and venture capital companies that make significant profits for shareholders. They believe that surpluses should be re-invested into children’s services; and that excessive profit has no place in the care of vulnerable children. #forchildrennotprofit”

Fair Ways Fostering is part of Fair Ways charity, the children’s services provider. We consider that a group of Charity or Not-for-Profit IFAs with strong and aligned values, working together, is a positive step forward for the UK Fostering industry.

Jonathan Loney, Director of Residential and Family Services for Fair Ways comments:

“We look forward to working with the partnership to bring awareness and reform to the care of Looked after children and especially the fostering sector.”
