Fair Ways Signs Armed Forces Covenant

Fair Ways is proud to announce the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant, reaffirming our commitment to supporting serving personnel, veterans, and their families.

The signing took place on Thursday 26th June 2025 at a Shaping Portsmouth Armed Forces event, held at The Royal Maritime Hotel in Portsmouth.

The Armed Forces Covenant represents a promise by the nation to ensure that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated with fairness and respect. By signing the covenant, Fair Ways has formally pledged to recognise the value that members of the armed forces community bring to our organisation and the communities we support.

Signing the Armed Forces Covenant is a natural step for Fair Ways,” said Fair Ways Managing Director, Gareth Webb. “We have always held strong ties with the military community, with many of our staff and their family members having served. This covenant is our way of honouring those connections and showing our continued support.

The event, hosted by Shaping Portsmouth, brought together a range of organisations across the city, all united in their commitment to the armed forces. Fair Ways joins a growing number of employers pledging to create supportive environments and opportunities for those connected to military life.

Through this commitment, Fair Ways aims to further enhance recruitment practices, support the wellbeing of service leavers, and recognise the unique experiences and skills that veterans and reservists contribute to the workplace.
