Shaping Portsmouth Becomes First to Sign Fair Ways’ Fostering Friendly Employer Charter

We are delighted to announce that Shaping Portsmouth has become the very first organisation to sign up to Fair Ways’ Fostering Friendly Employer Charter – marking a major milestone in our mission to create more inclusive and supportive workplaces for Foster Carers.

At Fair Ways, we believe that Foster Carers deserve meaningful recognition – not just in our communities, but in their workplaces too. That’s why we’ve launched the Fostering Friendly Employer Charter: a simple, cost-free workplace policy designed to offer flexibility and support to those who care for vulnerable children, a campaign led by The Fostering Network.

Our goal is bold but achievable: 50 local employers standing together in support of Foster Carers.
