About the Role

Fair Ways is looking for a Senior Registered Manager to assist with expanding our residential department as the company is looking to open a new home in, or close to, Hampshire. The successful candidate will take a lead in registering a brand new Children’s Home with Ofsted, recruiting a staff team and proactively leading a positive and motivated workforce towards delivering outstanding outcomes for the young people placed. The successful candidate will also play a pivotal role in ensuring continued improvement across all residential services within Fair Ways alongside our other Senior Registered Managers and management team.

Essential Skills:

Candidates will need to demonstrate good knowledge of legislation which is relevant to residential childcare, including Children’s Home Quality Standards 2015 and Children’s Home Regulations. The successful candidate must hold a Level 5 qualification or equivalent in order to meet the regulatory requirements for a Senior Registered Manager. The successful candidate must also be able to evidence effective experience of being part of a management team in a children’s home with at least a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. Applicants must have a full driving licence and have access to the use of a car. Successful candidates will be required to provide an enhanced disclosure (DBS). The disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways.
