About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, reliable Payroll Officer to join our well respected HR team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for accurately running the monthly payroll, whilst meeting company deadlines for approximately 300 staff.
The successful candidate will be required to resolve day to day pay related queries, carry out pension administration tasks, and check and approve various pay related calculations.
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for three employees and will be required to carry out supervision and support as and when necessary.
What we want from you
We are looking for someone who has proven experience of running payroll and operating payroll software. It is essential that candidates have proven knowledge of HMRC processes and have great attention to detail and a solid grasp of mathematics, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written. Applicants will be required to demonstrate experience of pension administration, including auto-enrolment.
All candidates must have a full driving license and have access to use of a car.
