Staff Training

Fair Ways recognise that our support workers have the most contact with service users and are crucial to service users’ welfare. We will ensure the following:

  • Staff only commence work once a satisfactory DBS check and references are received
  • Our staff will be skilled and experienced in all areas of personal care
  • Staff will complete a 7 day Induction, followed by job specific mandatory training prior to working with service users
  • Our staff are contracted to ongoing training, including the NVQ in Health & Social Care

Domiciliary Care

Investment in staff training is a core value of Fair Ways. In 2016, the company training spend per staff member was 2x the national average. A dedicated Training Co-ordinator plans and ensures all staff mandatory training is up to date.
