This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated, hard-working professionals. You will be responsible for delivering high quality holistic support to young people and adults who present with complex social, educational/vocational and health care needs. Our Support Workers are responsible for key working service users including assessment, implementation and review of individualised support packages to enable them to work towards independent living. The role will involve being integral to an intensive supported living culture in one of the areas of speciality of health and wellbeing, life skills and practical maintenance.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, energetic and conscientious Support Worker to join our Intensive Supported Living Service in the Solent area of Hampshire.
You will take responsibility for the running of the home as a lone worker within a team, supporting young people to develop independent living skills to enable them to live independently in the community.
The position is on a rota basis with shifts covering days, evenings and weekends. As part of our team, you will deliver the highest standards of care, protection and support to our young people by facilitating their physical and psychological development.
Our ideal candidate will be a positive and motivated individual with excellent communication skills helping to guide our young people with general life skills. We would like you to to demonstrate a flexible approach to the task and be resilient under pressure. Previous experience of working with young people and or adults with complex social, educational/vocational and health care needs needs is highly desirable. A level 3 qualification in childcare is a plus, but not essential. All candidates must have a full driving licence and have access to the use of a car. Successful candidates will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure (DBS). The disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways.
