We can make a difference

As a charity-owned organisation, we reinvest all of our profits back into the organisation. We know how important it is to give people the opportunity to develop and we are dedicated to improving our services, training and working conditions.

Senior Leaders Programme

A programme designed for senior staff in positions in Fair Ways to provide a combination of outward-bound activities in the Brecon Beacons, to develop team and leadership skills.

Future Leaders Programme

A programme designed to combine conventional management and team-building training, with innovative outward bound and classroom-based activities to promote leadership skills.

The Hub

A team solely focussed on therapeutic support to children, young people and their carers within Fair Ways. Following a trauma-informed approach, we offer reflective supervision to staff, network consultation, family work and one to one therapy.

Education Grant

Each year, Fair Ways set aside £10,000 for staff and foster carers to undertake external training to enhance their own career opportunities, increase personal skills and to upskill their department.

Hardship Fund

Fair Ways provides a fund of £10,000 to staff and foster carers who may require assistance due to circumstances beyond their control.

Employee Assistance Programme

Fair Ways take mental health and wellbeing seriously. We offer an EAP for all staff, from their first day of employment as a confidential resource available for support with a wide range of subjects and issues.

  • Attending the Future Leaders Programme helped me focus on my career goals and learn more about myself and what I can do to push myself. It has changed how I work, as well as giving me a group of people I feel confident talking to.
