A message from our Head of Education

Welcome to our latest school update, it seems as though so much has happened over the past six months. I cannot believe how quickly the time is passing. It seems like the new term only started a couple of weeks ago and we are already now looking at Christmas. I am feeling more settled in my role of Head of Education and am really excited about all the things we have to come across all three school sites.

Yes, you read right we now have three sites; September saw the opening of our exciting new site in Fareham, Fort Wallington. As you know the future can be a really daunting prospect for many young people, even more so for the young people we work with at Fair Ways School. Therefore, our Fort Wallington School will support young people in their transitional periods, getting them ready for the next adventure on their education journey whether it be college, work experience, work, and apprenticeships.

All three schools are even busier than ever and have seen many comings and goings over the summer. We are really proud of the results achieved by all our young people in the summer, please see all the details within this website. Those young people like to keep in touch and it is lovely to hear how well they are all doing.

As young people leave we are always really pleased to welcome new young people and start them on their Fair Ways journey.

I try and update my message as regularly as possible to ensure you are updated with everything happening but just in case, can I take this opportunity to wish all staff, young people, family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Keep an eye on this website for our next newsletter, where you can see all the exciting things the young people have been up to.

Take care and look forward to seeing you in 2019.
